Todd flies at the Central Coast Soaring Club just to the north of his home in Sydney, Australia. He just started gliding a few months ago and recently achieved his first solo. However this comes off the back of a long career in leadership roles in the airline industry as well as some power flying in the 90’s. Todd reflects on why he has taken up this new interest and how gliding could really see a surge of fresh interest during COVID as many professional pilots are looking to scratch their aviation itch.
